Course Length, Format & Tuition
Our 101-FSP NRA First Steps Pistol Orientation consists up to 5 hours of classroom instruction followed by up to an hour on the range. This is an introduction to handguns that covers the basics such as safety, ammunition and marksmanship fundamentals. It is intended for adults and youth ages 10 and up who are brand new to handguns. Tuition for 101-FSP is $149/person with a special discount down to $99/person for registrations of three or more students in the same class. Your tuition include the use of our .22 caliber handgun and the required ammunition. The range fee is $20 per person and is due at class. 101-FSP NRA First Steps Pistol makes an excellent foundation course for those that are brand new to handguns before they complete our concealed carry and/or defensive handgun courses. 101-FSP should not be used by itself when applying for a concealed handgun permit as we are not allowed by the NRA to include information on laws, use of force or other defensive handgun topics.
