Our 202 Introduction to Defensive Handgun is a 4-hour, range-only course that makes an excellent next step for concealed handgun permit holders and applicants that lack defensive handgun training. Perhaps you completed a "handgun safety course" to apply for your concealed handgun permit and now you have realized that you need real training in order to be safe and effective in defensive handgun use. There are about 150,000 concealed handgun permits issued to date in Colorado and the vast majority have only completed the most basic safety class. If we use a motor vehicle analogy, these licensed concealed handgun "drivers" are legal to get around the block and "park" their gun safely in their holster but that's about it. Think back to when you were a teenager and you just got your driver license. How much more do you know now that you didn't even know that you didn't know then? 202-IDH Course Topics
When taken as a standalone course, the 202-IDH course tuition is $149. Students completing our 201-CO Concealed Carry course m aybundle in this 202 course for $99 as an upgrade to their range session thereby saving $50.
