This CCW-101 course exceeds the minimum training requirement needed to apply for the concealed handgun permit in Colorado.  Students may apply for their permit with the certificate from this course.  Then, while waiting up to 60 to 90 days for the permit to be issued, we strongly recommend taking our CCW-201 course.

CCW-101 is a classroom-only session.  Students with significant prior handgun experience, including defensive handgun training from the holster, may find that CCW-101 is sufficient for their needs – instructor approval required.  All others will need our CCW-201 course.

CCW-201 is a live-fire range course covering safe and effective presentation from a concealed holster to engage targets with defensive accuracy.  Students will learn about different holster / carry options, how to access their handgun and present to the target.
