NRA Personal Protection In The Home Instructor

This is the official NRA Personal Protection In The Home Instructor Course with both classroom and live-fire range sessions. PPITH is essentially a home-invasion defense course focused on the handgun and intended to assist you in preventing the intrusion and, if necessary, dealing with it effectively if it occurs.

To attend this PPITH Instructor Course, candidates must have completed the Personal Protection In The Home Student, BIT and Pistol Instructor courses and have a current certification.  If the BIT course has not been completed within the last 24 months, it must be repeated prior to attending this course.  We offer the PPITH Student and Instructor Courses in a back-to-back, 2-day format.  If you are a current NRA Pistol Instructor that needs to “refresh your BIT”, you may attend BIT only in one of our scheduled Pistol Instructor Programs or contact us to see if we can schedule a special BIT course for you prior to PPITH.
