NRA CCW Instructor Program!

What can you do with this credential?

• Teach the NRA CCW Student Course – modular format from 1 to 16 hours*
• Take advantage of this brand new (in 2019) high-value NRA training.
• Distinguish yourself from those with only NRA Pistol Instructor certification.

Who may take this course?

• NRA Certified Pistol Instructors with current rating / certification.
• BIT Course completion within last 24 months or must retake BIT.
• Prior completion of the underlying NRA CCW Student Course (see notes below)

Additional Information

Since the NRA requires all instructor candidates to first complete the underlying student course covering the number of hours specified by the state in which it is taught before they can attend the corresponding instructor course, we offer the NRA CCW Student Course in an 8-hour format as required by Colorado beginning in 2024.  Tuition for this student course is separate from the instructor course.  Candidates my also complete the 8-hour version of the modular NRA CCW Student Course elsewhere and provide a copy of their instructor-signed NRA certificate.
