This is the official NRA BIT Course PLUS the NRA Range Safety Officer (“Student”) Course PLUS the NRA Chief Range Safety Officer (RSO Instructor) Course delivered in a back-to-back, 3-day program.

RSO is open to those who are 21 and older with a solid background in firearms as well as an appreciation and commitment to firearms safety.  The NRA Basic Instructor Training (aka “BIT”) Course is NOT required for RSO Candidates and they do NOT need to be NRA Certified Instructors.

However, CRSO Candidates must be an NRA RSO (or have completed the NRA RSO Course in our 2-day program) AND prior completion of the NRA BIT Course within the last 24 months in order to attend the CRSO Course.

If you have already completed the NRA BIT Course within the last 24 months, you may register for the 2-day program covering the NRA RSO & CRSO courses.
